Hi everyone,
I've received a couple of requests for extensions.

I want to remind everyone that ALL students have the ability to hand in
ONE assignment up to 48 hours after the due date without penalty. The
late policy is meant to accommodate special circumstances, such as minor
illnesses, technical problems, conflicts with other course assignments, etc.

You needn't do anything special to indicate that you are taking
advantage of the late policy. Simply submit your assignment after 5:00
PM today, and your assignment will be considered late. (Just be sure to
submit it before Sunday 5:00 PM).

Hi,

Outside of the types of special circumstances you listed, I feel that
requests for an official extension on Assignment 2 are more than
reasonable. Considering that we handed in Assignment 1 less than 2 weeks
ago, had a somewhat significant test in one of our math classes early
this week, and that many SE students have job interviews this week, the
official Assignment 2 due date was certainly placed too soon after
Assignment 1's. I'm confident that many students will be using up their
special late policy for this due date with illnesses and technical
problems not being relevant factors.

I don't mean for this to be taken an actual request or complaint, just my
opinion.
