In a previous posting, I raised this question:
"Also, for the double-suited condition, does the LEFT BOWER count as a
SEPARATE SUIT?"
And you said
"The left bauer is among the trump cards; it is not a separate suit."
However, when the random seed is 3, this occurs:
Player 3 deals
The top card on the kitty is: AS
Computer (CMA) Player 4 (JD,JC,JS,QD,10C) > Player 4 passes
Computer (CMA) Player 1 (10H,QS,9H,JH,KS) > Player 1 passes
Computer (CMA) Player 2 (KD,9D,9C,KC,AC) > Player 2 passes
Computer (CMA) Player 3 (AD,10S,AH,QC,QH) > Player 3 passes
Everybody passed, so bid for a suit.
Computer (CMA) Player 4 (JD,JC,JS,QD,10C) > Player 4 passes
Here, you can clearly see that if player 3 bids for clubs. He has 3
trumps (JC, JS, 10C) and also another single suit (JD, QD). But
our_euchre's AI passed instead of going alone!
