Final Review Session Requests

Hey Casey,

As per your suggestion to send questions in advance for detailed
coverage, I was wondering if you could go over the following few items in
as much detail as you think would be sufficient for the final:

1) In a similar fashion as Question 3 on the S07 practice final (or in
whatever format that would be most relevant to our final) can you work
through a couple examples of appropriate solutions for questions that
might ask us to improve existing designs given their UML diagrams?

2) Can you show us at least 3 examples of linking design patterns,
complete with UML diagrams and class declarations? If possible, it would
be great if you included each of the Factory Method, Singleton, Composite,
Decorator, Iterator, Observer, Strategy, and Template patterns.

3) Can you outline for us what you and Prof. Atlee think the ideal MVC
pattern design would have been for our euchre project? Including a UML
diagram? I think this would help clarify the MVC content as well as be
of personal interest.

4) Can you specifically work through solutions for questions 3, 4, 5, and
7 from the S07 final?

This is not realistic, given the time it takes to develop extensive
examples like this and the time it takes to go over them.

It would be better if you looked at the repository of design pattern
examples on the course Web page, and asked Casey to go over any that you
do not understand.
